Construction Timing
Construction Updates
Girder erection for the Dorchester Road bridge over Highway 401 is planned to take place from June 24 - 27, 2024, from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am. Full closures of Highway 401, for both westbound and eastbound traffic, are required as outlined below:

Eastbound Highway 401 traffic will use the existing Dorchester Road ramps to cross Dorchester Road. Westbound Highway 401 traffic will use the signed detour routes along Westchester Bourne, Cromarty Drive and Elgin Road.
